YOUTH ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT
Our experience within youth enterprise development enables us to facilitate real transformation for this vulnerable group through our tried and tested interventions that help to move young entrepreneurs from start up to growth and ultimately to scale. We assist young entrepreneurs with the necessary business development support (BDS) they need to establish, grow and operate competitive business entities in key sectors of the economy.
In 2014 we partnered with globally recognised audit firm, Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), to oversee the implementation of Tshepo 500 000 in Gauteng.
Tshepo 500 000 is an employment creation and entrepreneurship development programme aimed at training, skilling and mentoring young people through a set of projects to enhance employability and entrepreneurial skills over the period, 2014-2019.
The programme is delivered through a partnership between Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) and partners in the private sectors, municipalities and institutions of higher learning, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and State Owned Enterprises (SOEs).
